Install from the Chrome Web Store. SubSoar appears as an icon in your toolbar.
2 · Pin it
Pin SubSoar so it’s available on every YouTube tab. Open a video and click the icon.
3 · (Optional) Unlock Pro
Open settings, purchase Pro via Stripe, and paste your API key. AI search and chat are just another tab.

Free subtitle search runs entirely in your browser. SubSoar indexes subtitles locally and doesn’t upload them to our servers. For more detail, see the full SubSoar Privacy Policy.
For Pro, your LLM API key is stored only in the extension and used directly from your browser to call your provider. We don’t see or log your prompts.
Do you store my video history?
No. We don’t keep a log of which videos you watch or which timestamps you jump to. Local caches stay in your browser and can be cleared any time.
How does Stripe fit in?
SubSoar is free to download and use. Pro is optional and costs $4.99 for lifetime access. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card details.
